Danny Knijff LE:EN bought an old school Roland vinyl cutter and a hot press and asked me to figure out how this thing works, with the computers and the cables and such and so.

I obtained an old Illustrator version and got this thing up and running. Turns out it’s a great machine that can do a lot of interesting cutting. The SAAB 95/96 shows how much detail it can give. Removing all the excess vinyl can be a hell of a job, but the results are fantastic. I’ve even tried pressing multiple layers (colours) after each other.
